When a discount looks too good to be true

A fake online shop can look professional while offering little reliable information about its address, telephone number or customer support. Product photographs may be copied and reviews invented. After payment, the “seller” may stop responding and the goods never arrive.

Before buying, check the seller, returns policy and customer experiences on independent sources. Do not base your decision on the size of the discount alone.
