Fraudulent emails with international invoices

As part of its cybersecurity awareness campaign, FIN-CSIRT is drawing attention to fraudulent emails containing international invoices.

Warning signs can include:

• Spelling and grammatical errors.
• Changes to familiar contacts or usual communication methods.
• Unexpected changes to bank details without prior notice.

Before paying an invoice, compare the bank details with previous invoices and confirm any change directly with the supplier by phone, using a number you already trust.
